"Failing Your Way to Success" by LeSean Thomas
You must be willing to achieve what others won’t do.
LeSean Thomas failed because he wasn’t familiar with the Korean language and
culture. It made things harder like traveling to work, eating their food, and
communicating with people. He felt homesick and thought about giving up. When
things don’t work as you planned and you think about giving up, you are
considered a failure. To be successful, you must overcome your obstacles. The
three key points he made were Pre-production, Post-production, and Main
production. I learned Pre-production is the skill and process Americans use to
create the characters and form a storyline. Post-production is the second
process, in which Americans take the animation that Korea made for them and
edit the animation with effects, voices, and music. Then, air it on television.
The Main production is outsourcing. I agree with his statements because the
people whom we considered crazy are the ones who made history. Someone thought
about creating a metal object to fly in the sky. Sounds crazy, but they made
something and took that extra step to make a change. People can travel faster
and easier now. Everyone will experience many obstacles to overcome.
